With over 18 years of experience in traditional finance both domestically in Ireland and internationally Michael has held senior roles at Bank of America and Deutsche Bank. His expertise spans payments, treasury systems, compliance, and IT change management.
Michael’s transition into crypto began in 2018, first as a trader, then as a builder and advisor. It was through this journey that the idea for Buen Crypto was born not on a whiteboard, but while walking the Camino de Santiago. The vision: to build the kind of professional advisory firm he wished had existed when he was crossing the bridge between traditional and digital finance.
Buen Crypto (literally, “Good Crypto”) carries the spirit of the Camina a belief that while there may be no map, there is always a path. The firm exists to guide clients governments, financial institutions, and exchanges along that path with discretion, clarity, and confidence.
